Our very dear friends live in Washington State. We try to see them every time we travel to the mainland, we spend our holidays with them, and we go on vacation trips with them.
We spent a few Christmases with them as well and it’s safe to say that they are more like family to us.
They live in the picturesque town of Manson, WA. The town sits on the edge of Lake Chelan, dotted with quaint towns, fruit orchards, sprawling vineyards, and artful wineries.
The time spend here is always relaxing, filled with good food, good company, and good movies; as our friends are big movie buffs just like us.
This time we also took quite a few road trips around the area – high above the lake for stunning views, into the woods for wildlife watching, into town for a change of scenery, and to sample delicious Mexican food, brought into the area by seasonal fruit pickers, who after a while decided to make this part of the country their home.
Two weeks passed and the last shipment from Hawaii was still MIA…
