This is one of the nicest RV Parks in Florida that we have stayed in thus far.
The campground is huge and there is a spot designed for almost everyone.
The different sections of the RV Park have different perks, but also downsides as well.
We started in the D-section of the park, which is in the more tropical area. Very lush, green, private, and secluded. And while the scenery and the surroundings were beautiful, the area is in the wi-fi and cell data dead zone, so if you are a digital nomad and work on the road like we do, I wouldn’t recommend this area for you.
After a few days, we moved to the “new section” of the RV park, which has brand new concrete slabs and decent wi-fi and data coverage.
The park recently put-up free internet towers, but I’d be happier, if they invested in high speed internet that was up for purchase. Right now, you either have your own wi-fi built into your rig, or you are at the mercy of free internet in the park, which gets bogged down with high usage in the evening.
Cellphone coverage: it seems that the whole State of Florida runs on AT&T and it is abundantly clear here in Orlando, where you can’t get anything done without the 5G network.
Amenities: This RV Park and the people working here really take a lot of pride in the surroundings and the amenities they provide.
The two large pools are heated and the showers are also warm. Bathrooms are always clean and neat and the employees constantly check on the state of cleanliness in all of the public spaces.
Laundry: That would be my least favorite part of this RV park. There are multiple laundry facilities – the ones closest to their sundry shop were always busy (and I suspect for a reason). The laundry in the newly built section is not finished yet. The rest is less than stellar, with dryers not running hot enough. All the laundry rooms run on the token system, which you have to purchase specifically and it’s rather annoying. We actually went to a laundromat instead of using laundry within the RV park.
Location: This RV park is located in the Clermont area of Orlando. There are many great restaurants in the vicinity. Our favorite was The Friar Tuck British Pub and Santiago’s Latin cuisine take-out with a divine meat selection and true Latin flavors. Bamboo Garden Chinese restaurant has a fab lunch specials worth checking out also.
When it comes to groceries, there is a Publix grocery store right next door and Walmart less than 5 miles away. Close by are also fast-food restaurants, pharmacies, gas stations, etc..
Overall a lovely RV park with great locations, many things to do inside and outside of the park. Friendly and helpful staff that cares about the place and about the people staying there.
